As a Fire Warden Team Member, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our church community in the event of a fire or emergency situation. Responsibilities:

• Familiarise yourself with the church’s emergency evacuation procedures and protocols.
• Attend training sessions to learn about fire prevention, response strategies, and the proper use of firefighting equipment.
• Assist in conducting regular fire drills to ensure that attendees and fellow team members are familiar with evacuation routes and procedures.
• Monitor the church premises during services, events, and gatherings to identify potential fire hazards.
• Act as a point of contact for attendees and guide them in the event of an emergency evacuation.
• Maintain clear communication with other Fire Warden Team Members and event organisers to coordinate actions during emergencies.
• Help direct individuals to designated assembly points and account for all attendees during evacuations.
• Ensure that fire exits and pathways remain unobstructed and accessible at all times.
• Report any fire safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to appropriate authorities.
• Assist in post-evacuation activities, such as accounting for all attendees and providing information to emergency responders.
