As a Cleaning Team Member, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your efforts will contribute to creating a comfortable and inviting space for worship, fellowship, community engagement and events.
Responsibilities:
- Take a turn in performing the regular cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all areas within the church premises.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a neat appearance throughout the building.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, to ensure hygiene and freshness.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed to keep common areas clutter-free.
- Wipe down surfaces, including pews, chairs, tables, and counters, to maintain cleanliness.
- Clean windows, glass doors, and other visible surfaces for a polished look.
- Collaborate with fellow Cleaning Team Members to divide tasks and efficiently cover all areas.
- Attend to any immediate cleaning needs during events or services as they arise.
- Maintain a stock of cleaning supplies and inform supervisors of any shortages or maintenance issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning materials and equipment.
Qualifications:

- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may involve standing, bending, and lifting.
- Reliable and punctual attendance to fulfill cleaning duties according to the schedule.
